The King of Marvin Gardens (1972)

Directed by Bob Rafelson

Late-night talk radio host David travels to Atlantic City and is taken in by his con-man brother Jason, who has big dreams of buying an island near Hawaii.  Meanwhile, a rivalry grows between David's girlfriend, former beauty queen Sally, and her pretty stepdaughter Jessica. Monopoly metaphors abound in Bob Rafelson's follow up to Five Easy Pieces.
