Directed by Robert Altman
Upright Scotty (Tom Laughlin) wants to date pretty Janice (Rosemary Howard) but is deemed unsuitable by her bourgeois parents. Bad-boy “Cholly” offers to spring Janice from the parental trap and deliver her to Scotty, by posing as an appropriately career-driven suitor. The plot works, but soon Janice and Scotty are caught up with Cholly’s reckless and violent teen set, leading to a confrontation.
