Interview with Jewel Thais-Williams, founder and owner of the landmark Jewel's Catch One disco, which operated from 1972 to 2015 in the Arlington Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles and provided a safe space for LGBTQIA and Black communities. Followed by interviews with friends of Thais-Williams and the Catch One: Stephanie Farrington-Domingue, Director of Education for the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Community Services Center; Sandra Domingue; and Bobby Smith, HIV/AIDS Project Coordinator of the Tarzana Treatment Center.
