"The movie is breathtaking. It lingers long after the images leave the screen." —Jon Carroll, San Francisco Chronicle

Directed by Thomas Riedelsheimer

A mesmerizing portrait of art in the natural world, Rivers and Tides follows Scottish artist Andy Goldsworthy as he works outdoors, crafting stunning, ephemeral sculptures out of leaves, rocks, ice, and other natural elements.  Children of all ages--and anyone who has built a sand castle on the beach--will recognize a kindred spirit in Goldsworthy’s studious play with nature, and his utterly absorbing creations.
