"Six O'Clock Call"

Beloved writer, director, producer and actor Gertrude Berg stars in this light comedy as a widow who claims to her astonished family that she speaks to her deceased husband on the phone every Sunday at precisely 6 p.m.  Variety proclaimed the production as “a fine show in every department,” while singling out Berg's performance of “thought and substance... in the Bronx-type groove.”
