"The Rack"

Rod Serling's provocative drama examines the moral complexities of war as a previously decorated Army officer faces court martial for actions taken while under duress of extreme torture in a Korean P.O.W. camp.  Variety praised the topical live production as a “convincing and thought-provoking show.”  Serling's teleplay was subsequently adapted into an MGM feature film starring Paul Newman and Anne Francis.
