Synopsis

The premiere episode of the television incarnation of U.S. Steel Hour dramatizes the emotional and psychological challenges faced by American soldiers after they returned home from P.O.W. camps during the Korean War.  Following its airing, the trade publication Broadcasting reported the Department of Defense had requested a kinescope of the production to aid in the treatment of recent prisoners of war.
