Title:

"Press conference on investigation of assassination plot"

Date:
January 26, 1972

Synopsis

Two unidentified men speak at a podium, one after the other, possibly as part of a press conference. The first man talks about a history of men who stand for popular causes being assassinated and urges the FBI to involve itself in this investigation before anyone is killed. According to the second man, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms says they don't have jurisdiction even though the man hired to do the murder was an expert in the use of explosives. He believes that not only should they continue investigating, but there should be a review as to why the case was dropped. The roll of film was originally labeled "Cesar Chavez," and it may be that they are talking about the 1971 assassination plot on Cesar Chavez.
