Announcer introduction: "Molly and Jake Goldberg have passed through their first overwhelming happiness in the presence of their new daughter-in-law Grace. Reality has entered the picture now, and reality has shown them that Grace has troubles of her own, and right now a terrible problem. Sammy's wife says she needs money to help out a sister of hers, and the only money in the family at the present is Rosie's nest egg for college. It seems inevitable to Jake that the money be used to help Grace... and all would be well if we didn't know that Grace is a liar, and that Rosie suspects it... But Molly and Jake are blind to everything but the charm, the beauty, the lovely character of Sammy's wife... Listen..."

Announcer close: "If a hurricane hit the Goldberg house... Molly and Jake couldn't be more astounded, more shocked, more amazed... that Rosie should act so... and Rosie is defiant... and afraid to say what she believes at the same time."
