1999 Visible Evidence Conference Registration Information

Visible Evidence VII will take place at UCLA from August 19-22, 1999. The campus is located on the western edge of the city with public transit to Westwood and other areas. Shuttle services from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) can be taken for approximately $20.00 each way.

The registration fee is $105.00 (US) for faculty and fully employed people. The registration fee for students is $80.00 (copy of student status, i.e. ID, with registration, required). The 1999 registration fee covers lunch on Saturday and Sunday, evening receptions on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, admission to evening programs presented by the UCLA Film and Television Archive, and complimentary beverages and snacks both before and between panels. This year's fee is slightly higher than last years due to the inclusion of lunch costs over the weekend (all campus food facilities are closed).

THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS JUNE 11, 1999. Late registration is $120.00 for faculty and fully employed people, and $95.00 for students. Seating and accommodations are limited, so late registrants will be subject to availability.

In order to reserve housing reservations we must receive your request by June 15, 1999. Accommodations at the UCLA Guest House are limited and we are unable to hold additional rooms after that date. Some rooms may be available, but they are open to the campus on a first come first serve basis after the 15th. Accommodations are also available in Westwood, but those rooms are approximately 15-20 minutes (walking) away from the conference site.
