artistry with new technology. The successful re-release of Mr.
Lucas's STAR WARS Trilogy Special Edition in early 1997 has helped
to highlight the necessity for the preservation of contemporary
films. Mr. Lucas is also a Vice-President of the Artists Rights
Foundation.
