Graduate students in the Moving Image Archive Studies (MIAS) program will present an eclectic mix of research on, and excerpts from, the Warner Archive Collection at UCLA. Student-curated presentations will feature clips from nine classic and cult films, including horror, neo-noir, musicals, rom-com, pre-Code and silent titles.

Thanks to a generous donation from Warner Bros., UCLA Film & Television Archive has received more than 1,200 DVDs from the “Warner Archive Collection” that are now available for viewing at the Archive’s Research & Study Center (ARSC) in Powell Library.

This continually expanding research collection at UCLA includes pre-1986 MGM films, RKO titles and Warner Bros. films, many previously rare and never before available on DVD.

Join us as the deep research value of this rich collection is illuminated by MIAS student presentations exploring key scenes from the following diverse list of titles:
