Japanese Internment

The UCLA Film & Television Archive holds a number of materials relevant to the study of the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II. From Hearst newsreels to documentaries and motion pictures, the holdings (from various sources) offer points of view from the American news media of the 1940s, the U.S. War Department and the testimony of internment camp inmates.
