UCLA Film & Television Archive is internationally renowned for its pioneering efforts to rescue, preserve and showcase moving image media, and is dedicated to ensuring that film history is explored and enjoyed for generations to come.

The Archive Research and Study Center (ARSC) is pleased to announce Bryan Wuest as the recipient of the ARSC Student Research Award for the 2011-2012 academic year. A 2nd year PhD student in UCLA's graduate Cinema and Media Studies program, Wuest's paper "Defining Homosexual Love Stories: Reconsidering the History of Pat Rocco's All-Male Films at the Park Theatre" was selected, in part, for its exceptional use of Archive collections, including the Pat Rocco Collection.

Mondo Rocco MarqueeMade possible by a grant from the Myra Reinhard Family Foundation, the ARSC Student Research Award recognizes the excellent media scholarship and writings produced on the UCLA campus, while also raising awareness of the rich resources the Archive Research and Study Center offers students. Look for the 2012-2013 application later this year.
