The UCLA Film and Television Archive's Research and Study Center (ARSC) provides on-site access to nearly 220,000 individual holdings. The Archive's collection is made available to researchers from around the world in UCLA's state-of-the-art audiovisual lab.

Thanks to the Center's services and facilities:

• Students have discovered the classics of film and television history.
• Scholars and writers researched thousands of articles and books.
• Producers and programmers have prepared exhibitions and productions.

The Research and Study Center arranges for over 14,000 individual viewing appointments each year and sponsors numerous symposia and scholarly workshops on a variety of topics in film history and criticism.
