Nearly 50 years have passed since Mister Peepers was last seen on Television. Yet just one viewing reveals that the show's gentle, subtle humor-which thoroughly beguiled American audiences-still resonates today. On October 18th, the UCLA Film & Television Archive, along with S'more Entertainment, will reunite Mister Peepers with the Television screen through the release of a four-disc DVD set featuring the first 26 episodes from the series. Produced live, this Emmy award-winning series featuring Wally Cox, Tony Randall, and Jack Warden only survived as 16mm kinescopes, which have been mastered to video for this DVD release. The set includes the following bonus items: the original pilot for the series, an interview with Dom DeLuise, Laugh-In footage featuring Wally Cox, a Wally Cox biography & photo gallery, and a Mister Peepers family tree. The UCLA Film & Television Archive is proud to announce that after nearly half a century, the loveable, award- winning Mister Peepers is back!
