An elegantly produced booklet on "the great spectacular film of the war in Ireland", directed by George Dewhurst in 1926. The brochure for the event includes notes on the making, restoration and composition of an original score for the film, together with a brief discussion of its political implications. The screening of Irish Destiny was preceded by two other films of Irish subject, Shamus O'Brien (Otis Turner, 1912) and Ireland (director unknown, ca. 1922). (P.Ch.Us.)
